May 31 – June 1 the "LMU Latin America Forum“, in cooperation with the LMU Latin America Network, will take place at the LMU Senatssaal and via Zoom.

We are happy to announce the LMU Latin America Forum 2022, an interdisciplinary conference focusing on joint projects of researchers from LMU, such as the Amerika Institut with Prof. Dr. Ursula Prutsch, and their partners in Latin America.
Speakers from seven countries in Latin America will discuss current topics with their counterparts at LMU. During this two-days conference, researchers will present their work in four different areas of knowledge: Cultures of Knowledge, Environment, Health, and Social Dynamics.

A hybrid event
The LMU Latin America Forum 2022 is a hybrid event.
The conference speakers from LMU and our guest speakers from Latin America will come together in Munich for two intensive days of conference and an entire week of meetings, workshops and lectures in each faculty. Some additional speakers will join us from their home countries in Latin America.
The conference participants from Munich, Latin America and all over the world will join virtually via zoom!
