"Crisis in American History" -- Student Visit to the NS-Dokumentationszentrum
In December 2019, Amerika-Institut students taking the undergraduate course "Crisis in American History: Framing, Perception, and Impact" made a visit to the NS-Dokumentationszentrum in Munich.

As part of the course, the students discussed the Munich Agreement and its impact on U.S. foreign policy. The visit to the NS-Dokumentationszentrum showed how the Munich Agreement is remembered today, while giving our group an opportunity to examine the rise (and fall) of the Nazi regime in Munich from both a local and a transatlantic historic perspective.
